Arriving

• Your check-in details (address, access and Wi-Fi) are in your booking messages. We never publish them here.
• Running late or can't get in? Message us on WhatsApp with your name and dates.
• Keep your booking confirmation handy for building or compound security.

During your stay

• Something not working? Send a photo on WhatsApp and we arrange a fix.
• Please no parties or events, and keep noise down late at night.
• Turn off the AC and lights when you head out. Egyptian summers are long.

Leaving

• Check-out time is in your booking. Ask us early if you need a late check-out.
• Leave keys as instructed in your booking messages.
• Forgot something? Tell us on WhatsApp and we will hold it for you.

Abu Tig Marina

Yachts, a waterfront walk and cafes. Best around sunset.

Downtown El Gouna

The town centre for groceries, pharmacies, restaurants and the evening crowd.

Wind and water

El Gouna is one of Egypt's kitesurfing spots. Book lessons only with licensed centres, and ask us for a boat trip or snorkelling day on the reefs.

Road 9

Maadi's main strip for cafes, bakeries and casual dinners, a short ride from the apartment.

Wadi Degla Protectorate

Desert canyon walks on the edge of Maadi. Go early, bring water.

Old Cairo and the Pyramids

Coptic Cairo is a few stops north of Maadi on Metro Line 1; Giza is best at opening time. We can suggest a driver.
